The Jerseyville City Council adopted a resolution authorizing Whitt Law LLC to file an appearance with the Property Tax Appeal Board in the matter of Highland Park CVS, LLC, allowing the city to provide legal advice or assistance if necessary.
Commissioner John Miles moved to approve the resolution and Commissioner Zachary Crawford seconded. Mayor Kevin Stork told the council that Jerseyville Unit #100 School District will take the lead on the appeal while the resolution provides the City the ability to support the district’s efforts through Whitt Law. The motion passed by roll call with all members voting aye.
