Council removes street employee from probation, accepts Depot resignation and approves summer hires

Council approved several personnel actions in new business on June 2. On a motion by Jessi Lewis, seconded by Dana Lewis, the Council removed Jordan Schwartz (Street Department) from new-hire probation effective Pay Period 13 and set his wage to $27.00 per hour.
The Council also accepted the resignation of Kim Benning from the Depot (motion by Matthew Weller, seconded by Jessi Lewis) and approved hiring Derrick Bogart in 2025 summer positions: Class 10 Scorekeeper at $13.00/hour, Class 11 Plate Umpire at $30.00/game, and Class 12 Field Umpire at $20.00/game (motion by Mike Siebrecht, seconded by Morrissette). Additionally, the Council approved Depot volunteers Vincent Groupe, Brody Groupe, Kim Benning, Kevin Harr, and Kaye Harr for workers' compensation purposes.
