REDFIELD — The Redfield City Council opened a public hearing May 5 on 2025–2026 malt-beverage license applications and closed it after no testimony or written comments were received. The council then approved renewals for Appel Oil Co., Appel’s Quick Stop, One Stop, Starters Lanes & Sports Lounge, Casey’s General Store #2391, La Cabana, Dollar General Store #15279, Family Dollar #33559 and approved a new license for Amaris Inn. The hearing opened at 8:03 p.m. and closed at 8:04 p.m., and the approvals were recorded on a motion by J. Lewis, seconded by Derscheid.
No conditions, protests or objections were recorded in the minutes. The approvals cover the 2025–2026 licensing year and were entered into the official minutes as the council’s action for that agenda item.
