Town Attorney Lyndsey Ryan told the Council that the $10,000 procurement threshold forces RFPs for many purchases and recommended the Council consider raising the amount to reduce administrative burden; the Council asked her to bring a proposed ordinance to the October meeting. Administrator Erin Braband was asked to contact PE Moore to request a renewal quote for snow removal services, and President Schmidt requested pricing for a street sweeper to bring to the next meeting.
Commissioner Walter Chase also asked the Council to re-examine installing a sidewalk along Route 565 from Home Run Baker Park to the school; President Schmidt said he would pursue that project. The Council recorded no public questions or comments and adjourned at 7:05 p.m.
