Trappe approves ARPA spending for town computers, meters and treatment-plant HVAC

Administrator Erin Braband presented the clerk’s report and staff pricing, and councilmembers approved the motion to allocate ARPA funds for these items.
"Commissioner Newnam made a motion to use ARPA funds to approve the purchase of new computers, new monitors and 2 firewalls as per BDK’s proposal," the minutes record. Commissioner Newnam’s motion, seconded by Commissioner Chase, passed unanimously. The Council excluded tinting for truck windows pending a legal review and asked Town Attorney Lyndsey Ryan to check regulations affecting window tinting.
