Lyman Car Show Offers Labor, Hardware to Secure Old Town Hall Records; Council to Ask Heart to Heart to Vacate Office

Debra Heinzman, speaking on behalf of the Lyman Car Show, proposed that Heart to Heart vacate an office in Old Town Hall so the town can secure and organize official records. The council agreed to the proposal and asked the clerk to send Heart to Heart a 30-day notice to vacate the specified office while allowing continued use of a separate storage room.
Heinzman told the council, "The Lyman Car Show will donate the labor and materials needed to secure the space," including installation of secure shelving, locks for the storage room and clerk's office, mesh and wood reinforcement for the upper exposed area and a labeled key storage board. She and Alexis Cameron also offered to assist with digital archiving and said the Car Show would donate a hard drive to be stored at Town Hall for backup. The council accepted the offer and directed the clerk to notify Heart to Heart and coordinate required steps.
