"Next week on the 30th on that Monday, Friendship Park will be closed down, and we are getting that, playground replaced," Eric said, and added staff will publicize meeting and volunteer details on the city website. Commissioners asked whether adjacent tennis and pickleball courts would be affected; staff said only the playground area will be closed during construction.
