"I have no items to report to you tonight so that we can attend the night out against crime event," City Manager Dustin Lewis said during staff reports. Mayor Dawn Ramsey later remarked on the meeting's brevity: "and this is the shortest city council meeting we've ever had in the history of as long as I've been here."
A councilmember moved to adjourn and another seconded; the council voted in favor and Mayor Ramsey declared the meeting adjourned. No further business or substantive agenda items remained on the docket, and the council left to participate in the community event.
