Village updates: wells and SCADA progress; pole removal, paving reimbursements and EV chargers noted

Water Department staff told the Board that Well 1‑3 is fully operational while Plant 2 Well 2‑2 remains offline until the AOP is certified. The SCADA system is nearing completion with Eagle Control performing work and a voltage adjustment by PSEGLI field service scheduled to address consistency at the Ridge Road pump. An evaluation of the ground tank roof and structure was completed and next steps are being developed by John Mirando and D&B.
Highway staff reported the North Main Street pole removal project is underway and poles have been removed; the new water main installation will proceed when weather permits with completion of the entire project expected by the end of June 2026. The Highway Department met with National Grid and received agreed paving reimbursements for streets where new mains were installed and will schedule paving in the spring. Installation of electric vehicle charging stations is complete; a PSEGLI grant supported the work and a previously planned Feb. 4 public‑relations photo opportunity was postponed until April due to weather.
