The Board of Trustees of the Winnsboro Independent School District on June 22 reelected its leadership and approved a series of routine consent agenda items. By motion of Chip Brown, seconded by Kristie Amason, the board reelected Brandon Green as president, Chip Brown as vice president and Kristie Amason as secretary; the motion was recorded as carried, 6-0.
The board approved minutes from its May 13, 2026 regular meeting and June 3, 2026 special meeting and took several routine approvals under the consent agenda. Those approvals recorded in the meeting minutes include acceptance of WES library books presented to the board and the renewal of workers' compensation insurance. Motions on consent items were moved and seconded by board members and recorded as carried (each recorded as "Carried 6 - 0").
