The Amsterdam common council on Dec. 9 approved a series of consent resolutions that included adoption of prior meeting minutes, appointments to administrative roles and routine contract authorizations.
At the meeting the council confirmed four commissioners of deeds — Joseph Emmanuel, Carla Farrell, Jennifer Iannotti and Michelle Zala — under Resolution 25‑26‑95. The council also approved Resolution 25‑26‑97 appointing Stacey Ortiz as registrar of vital statistics and Resolution 25‑26‑98 approving Jennifer Iannotti as deputy registrar, each to serve coterminous with the mayor per the city charter. Clerk S2 read the full text of the appointments during the roll call. Multiple roll calls on consent items were recorded as 'Aye' votes by attending members and the motions passed.
