Council President Steve Ahlborn moved to pay the October 7 disbursements, saying, "pay the disbursements for 10-7-24 in the amount of $11,505.86," and Councilmember Devin Krasowski seconded. Councilmember Rob Hartsock flagged a reactivation fee on the Shell account and late-payment fees on other accounts and asked staff to pursue reimbursement where appropriate; the motion to pay passed on a unanimous roll-call vote.
On minutes, Councilwoman Lupita Connor asked that the public-hearing minutes reflect comments made during a recess, and the City Attorney reminded the council that minutes are summaries of official business and generally do not include recesses. Ahlborn moved to approve the Aug. 19 public hearing minutes; the motion passed 3–1 with Connor voting no. Committee minutes from the Community Events and Library committees were accepted unanimously.
