Neighbor says Stonebridge lighting disturbed nights; village says managers responded

During "citizens to be heard," Susan Garcia described recurring late-night lighting at the Stonebridge apartment complex and asked the village to enforce existing off-street lighting rules. Garcia said that after a July 20 meeting with village staff and property management, "they did happen the following day" and that "finally, everybody in our neighborhood got relief from the tennis lights," but she urged changes so the problem won't recur when the property changes hands.
Trustees and staff said village manager Randy Reclaus and Chief Harris responded quickly and worked with management; Trustee Zick, who joined the follow-up inspection, thanked staff for the after-hours response. The board suggested enforcement options and possible ordinance implementation, and encouraged Garcia and neighbors to keep working with the village manager's office to ensure long-term compliance.
