Following adoption of the FY2027 budget, the Highland Village Community Development Corporation discussed and approved a funding agreement with the City to allow the CDC to use board-approved FY2027 funds for maintenance operations and projects.
Bill introduced the item as the legal instrument that codifies use of the adopted funds: "After you approve it... the board must enter into a funding agreement with the city to allow the funds to be used for maintenance and operation of city trails and soccer fields as well as for projects," he said, noting the funds are accounted for in the city's budget as Heather presented. The board discussed any concerns briefly and Phil moved that the board enter into the funding agreement; a board member seconded. The chair called a voice vote; the chair announced the motion carries.
The agreement will permit use of FY2027 budgeted funds for maintenance, operations and projects identified in the FDCIP and related staff work. The transcript records the board's approval by voice vote but does not provide an itemized vote tally in the record.
