Staff noted that people have dumped household trash and even mattresses at park dumpsters, and that existing cameras do not cover the dumpster location. As one staff member said, "Let me check on the cameras because Okay. Where that's located, I'm not sure it's in the camera view anymore." Board members discussed options including locked/channeled dumpsters, fencing or different dumpster models and the possibility of using camera license-plate captures to pursue violators.
Separately, park staff described two storm shelters on the course — one with a large hole in the roof that likely needs a full rebuild and another that may be repaired. The board asked staff to obtain repair and rebuild quotes and return with options and cost estimates.
