F & K preconstruction meeting set; Chamberlain Biz Park work funded by Ready 2

Staff said the notice-to-proceed is Aug. 24, starting a 180-day construction period, and that the project must hit drawdown milestones by Sept. 30 to secure grant/loan disbursements. "I wouldn't expect really any water materials being ordered that time...sewer their their plan is to put in all sewer 1st and then do all the water," the presenter said.
Staff outlined sequencing (sewer first, then water), funding breakdown notes (Ready 2 will cover water/wastewater with approximately $1.4 million for water/waste and roughly $1,000,000 for the road), and how the project will deliver internal hookups for future development. Board members asked clarifying questions about alignment, pipe size and loop connections; staff said a 10-inch main will be installed where appropriate.
