The board approved a payment to Caldwell Tanks covering fabrication and delivered steel for the water tower project.
Presenter (speaker 3) said most tank fabrication is complete, steel has been delivered and the new vault is up and running; staff presented Pay Application No. 6 requesting $680,352.00. "I present that amount to be approved for the amount of $680,352.00," the presenter said. The Chair moved to approve the payout and the board approved it by voice vote.
Staff noted minor outstanding items—pipe insulation inside the vault and a few submittals not yet received—but described the payout as justified by progress on fabrication and delivery. Painting of the tank is scheduled later and may be affected by weather; staff said substantial completion remains on track for December barring adverse weather.
