The DeWitt County Board voted to purchase a 2026 Ram 1500 crew cab V6 from Thomas Dodge Chrysler Jeep of Highland, IN for $43,921 on a motion by Myers and second by Werts. EMA Coordinator Paveleck told the Board the purchase will be funded with leftover grant money.
Myers said the old EMA vehicle was not worth trading and suggested keeping it as a spare for zoning inspections or for use by the EMA assistant, Annette. The motion carried with all recorded board members voting aye.
