During the Jan. 22 meeting the Finance committee report led to several unanimous actions. Motion by Prestegaard, second by Ferguson, to pay all bills passed. The board approved addenda to the IGA with Farmer City Fire Protection District and to the Agreement with Paramedic Services of Illinois to accommodate increases in ambulance service fees; specific fee amounts were not recorded in the minutes.
The board also approved an intergovernmental agreement with Kane County for juvenile detention services, adopted the county Investment Policy for fiscal year 2026, and accepted the Treasurer's Annual Report for the fiscal year ending 2025. All motions were recorded as carried with aye votes from members present.
