Board recognizes student athletes and coaches across Toms River high schools

The board recognized multiple teams, coaches and student-athletes from across Toms River high schools in a lengthy awards segment. Dave Correll, the publicity coordinator at Toms River High School South, introduced coaches and athletes and praised the Unified Sports program and varsity accomplishments. "My name is Dave Correll, and I am the publicity coordinator at Toms River High School South," he said when introducing recipients.
Coaches and teams accepted awards and recounted season highlights: Toms River South celebrated a South Jersey Group 3 volleyball championship; High School East presented fall sports honorees with division and county championships across tennis, soccer, football and other sports. The board invited coaches and team members to the dais for recognition photos and public applause, underscoring community support for athletics.
