A Unified Sports representative described the program as grant-funded and focused on social inclusion through shared sports and said the donation will help continue flag football and unified kickball, with additional activities planned. "Unified Sports is one of those things that reminds you of all that is right and good with the world," a program representative said during the remarks. The donation and the video were introduced during the student awards portion of the agenda; the board invited Educational Foundation representatives to come forward for photos and thanks.
