Denton trustees appoint chair pro tem, approve May minutes and claims

The Denton Board of Trustees convened at 6:33 p.m. on June 1 at the Denton Community Center and appointed Amanda Fangmeier as chair pro tem. Board members Doug Rosekrans, Trent Wheatley and Ryan Osborn were present; regular Chair Joe Hobelman was recorded as absent.
A motion by Doug Rosekrans, seconded by Trent Wheatley, approved the May 4 and May 21, 2026 meeting minutes. Later in the meeting trustees approved the claims lists on a motion by Rosekrans, seconded by Wheatley; the minutes record the motion as carried. The meeting adjourned at 7:58 p.m., and Clerk Charlotte TeBrink certified the minutes.
The record notes the board affirmed that the Nebraska Open Meetings Act posting was available for public inspection and that the meeting notice had been posted at the Denton Daily Double, the Denton Post Office and the Denton Community Center as required by law.
