Denton adopts new water rates, scheduled increases through 2029

At the April 6 meeting at the Denton Community Center, the board read the ordinance by title, approved the first reading and unanimously voted to waive the state statutory three-reading requirement. The ordinance text included a passage date entry showing it passed and was approved on April 4, 2026. The change follows a village presentation on utility costs and is intended to align monthly revenue with operating and treatment expenses.
