Senator Hardman used a point of introduction to present a certificate recognizing the 75th anniversary of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG). Hardman noted the organization was founded in 1951 and represents more than 62,000 health-care professionals nationwide, including members in Iowa.
Hardman said ACOG members in Iowa have championed initiatives to improve maternal health and protect the patient-physician relationship; the senator thanked the organization and noted the chamber’s concurrence in recognizing their anniversary.
