Committee sets Aug. 12 project tour and reviews multiple road project schedules
Summary

The Calumet County Highway Committee agreed on June 4, 2026 to hold a road and project tour on August 12, 2026, following the regular committee meeting. Commissioner Chad Scheinoha solicited dates from members and the committee selected that date for the tour.
Scheinoha also briefed members on schedules for several state and county projects: US Highway/State Trunk Highways 151/55 scheduling, STH 32/57 resurfacing, USH 10 resurfacing, County Trunk Highway B reconstruction, CTH M reconstruction, CTH D pulverizing and paving, a culvert project on CTH E, and CTH HH pulverizing and paving. Highway Road Superintendent Spencer Loebel left the meeting at 3:55 p.m.

Next steps: the committee will hold the project tour on Aug. 12 and continue to monitor project timelines at future meetings; the next regular meeting was tentatively set for July 8, 2026 at 8:30 a.m.
