Kolb elected chair; Voight chosen vice chair of Calumet County disabilities board
Summary
At its May 27 meeting the Calumet County Children with Disabilities Education Board elected Kolb as chair and Voight as vice chair by unanimous ballot, approved the agenda and prior minutes, and set its next regular meeting for Sept. 22, 2026.
The Calumet County Children with Disabilities Education Board elected Kolb as chair and Voight as vice chair at its May 27, 2026 meeting. The motion to elect Kolb as chair was made by Schwalenberg and seconded by Voight; the board cast a unanimous ballot and the motion carried.
Schwalenberg then nominated Voight for vice chair and the motion, again made by Schwalenberg and seconded by Voight, was approved unanimously. The board also approved the meeting agenda on a motion by Jones, seconded by Kees, and approved minutes from its Nov. 18, 2025 meeting on a motion by Kees, seconded by Schwalenberg. The meeting was called to order by Joanne K. Metzen, Director of Special Education, at 2:30 p.m.
