Preble County Rural Zoning Commission approves routine items, sets County Commission hearing for July 1

The Preble County Rural Zoning Commission handled routine procedural business on June 2, approving prior minutes, adopting the meeting agenda and taking action on Case 1645.
John Toschlog moved to accept the prior minutes and Wm. Clark Brown seconded; the board approved the minutes by voice vote. Toschlog then moved to approve the evening’s agenda with Brown seconding; the board approved the agenda by roll call. Chair Duane Grimme noted he had abstained from the prior meeting’s minutes because he had not attended that meeting.
After approving procedural items, the commission considered Case 1645 (Ferguson). Following discussion and a motion by Wm. Clark Brown, the commission approved the case 3-0. Zoning Director Brad Kramer reported the County Commission hearing on the case is set for July 1 at 9:30 a.m. Kramer also briefly reviewed dispositions of several other cases in the director’s report; the minutes note one earlier applicant pair, Chris and Lisa Huff, who received approval after prior disapprovals for different property sections.
With no further business, John Toschlog moved to adjourn, Wm. Clark Brown seconded, and Chair Grimme closed the meeting.
