The Lorraine Town Board voted unanimously to approve year-end payments and routine administrative motions at its Dec. 30, 2025 meeting. Councilperson Rachel Pitkin moved to approve Bill #2025G243-251 (MOTION #264); Councilman Gordon Hutton seconded and all present voted in favor.
Councilman David Johnson then moved to approve Bill #2025H281-298 (MOTION #265), seconded by Councilman Gordon Hutton, and that motion also passed unanimously. Later in the meeting the board approved the 2026 Summer Recreation Program authorization (MOTION #266) after a motion by Councilperson Rachel Pitkin and second by Councilman David Johnson. The board also approved signing a fire protection agreement with the Village of Adams (MOTION #267) on a unanimous vote.
All formal votes recorded at the meeting were unanimous and carried 'motion carried' in the minutes. The meeting closed with a motion to adjourn at 6:54 p.m. (MOTION #272) moved by Councilperson Rachel Pitkin and seconded by Councilman David Johnson.
