Council members reviewed multiple ongoing infrastructure and capital projects during the April 21 meeting. Work on an ADA handrail at the front of the Kinnear Library has started and is expected to continue for approximately two to three weeks, according to staff updates.
Council also discussed the Kinnear Library/McGill Town Hall parking lot. Council asked Dave Miller to review previous cost figures and indicated the council would attach a letter to the White Pine County Commission seeking action or funding as appropriate. Separately, the McGill Ball Park remains the town’s selection for SNPLMA Round 21 consideration. Members also reported continuing work on street signs throughout McGill.
No formal funding decisions or construction contracts were authorized at the meeting; council members asked staff to bring cost estimates and vendor information back to a future meeting for formal action.
