Chairperson Cynthia Angelopoulos raised the condition of the bench by the McGill post office, reporting it had been vandalized in recent months and should be replaced. The council reviewed vendor options sent by David Miller and agreed a metal bench (not plastic) is preferred.
Council members instructed themselves to review the options and place a decision on the next meeting agenda for purchase. No purchase order or funding details were set at the April 21 meeting.
The bench replacement was also noted under special projects and will be tracked with other downtown maintenance items.
