Extra hazardous tree found in field; applicant to submit COA for HLRB discussion
Summary

During review of the mapped removals at 419 North, staff reported that the urban forester identified an additional tree in significant decline that was not on the posted agenda. John McNair explained the finding and asked the property manager to file the COA: “he's going to try to submit for a COA for its removal either today or tomorrow,” which the property manager confirmed he would do.
Because the tree was not on the posted DRC agenda, staff said the item cannot be handled on DRC consent and must be advertised for the HLRB as a discussion item; staff said they would try to obtain a formal assessment from the urban forester in time for the August packet. The DRC asked the applicant to join the HLRB hearing in case there are public questions or comments.
