County staff, commissioners discuss cremated remains bill, fast-track permitting and juvenile corrections legislation

Commissioner Howell summarized recent testimony on juvenile-focused bills (including HB 2325 and HB 2329), and commissioners discussed county positions and next steps with their lobbyists.
The board gave unanimous consent to prepare a letter of support for the cremated-remains legislation and asked staff and counsel to coordinate testimony and communications with the county's legislative team.
