Fairfield Borough Council voted unanimously July 6 to approve the borough's June financial statements and to pay two invoices: Battersby Law for $906.25 (paid from retainer) and PMCA for $1,490 for zoning and code enforcement. The motion was made by Councilor Phyllis Gilbert and seconded by Councilor Jordan Sites; the roll call vote was 5-0.
Council members heard a brief streets committee report immediately afterward; no objections to the payment items were recorded. The financial approvals were recorded as routine business and will be reflected in the borough's posted monthly financials.
