Henry County Board approves reappointments, hospital and staffing agreements and routine reports

During its May 21 session the Henry County Board approved a slate of consent-agenda items and agreements. The board reappointed Jim Eccher and Tammy Dynes to the Board of Review and reappointed Jeff Belvel, Kathleen Repass and Dr. Thomas Rizzo to the Hammond Henry Hospital Board with terms beginning June 1, 2026. The board also approved a Laboratory Services Agreement with Hammond Henry Hospital and a Nextaff Staffing Services Agreement; motions were moved and seconded and passed by roll call.
The minutes show an appointment to the Emergency Telephone Systems Board for Clinton Powless (term June 1, 2026 to Nov. 30, 2027) and one Atkinson Fire Protection District appointment held over. The minutes include routine reports placed on file (Bi-State, Health Department, Veteran's, Clerk/Recorder Fees, Henry County Economic Development Partnership) and record that committee reports were placed on file by motion.
