Galva residents urge Henry County Board to impose moratorium on CO2 infrastructure

Chairman Kippy Breeden opened the public-comment period and the minutes record that Dustin Williams, Amanda Stodgel, Lisa Rose, John Wirth and Jason Rose addressed the board on the issue.
The speakers asked the board to delay approvals for CO2 projects pending further study; the minutes state "The following citizens spoke asking the board to support a moratorium regarding the CO2 related infrastructure in the county until all environmental safety, legal and financial concerns can be thoroughly reviewed." No formal motion or vote on a moratorium was introduced during the meeting.
