The Wahkiakum County Board of Commissioners approved a Memorandum of Understanding with the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees to permit employee Julie Dalen to work a 32-hour week, and separately approved a Contract and Business Associates Agreement with Cowlitz Family Health Center for nutritionist services.
Both actions were recorded as M/S/A and approved unanimously. The minutes do not specify financial terms for the nutritionist services contract. The HHS director and clerk of the board will complete the required contract documentation and ensure any personnel records related to the MOU are filed.
The approvals formalize a personnel accommodation under the county's labor relations framework and add outside nutritionist support via agreement with a regional health center.
