The Amelia County Board of Supervisors opened a public hearing on the fiscal year 2027 budget and Calendar Year 2026 tax rates at its June 16, 2026 work session in the Amelia County Administration Conference Room. Chairman David M. Felts called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. and asked County Administrator Eric S. Pollitt and the supervisors if there were questions; none were raised.
Chairman Felts opened the public hearing and allowed time for public comment; the board recorded that no one spoke and subsequently closed the hearing. The hearing provided the board and the public a formal opportunity to comment before final budget actions, but the session did not include testimony, amendments, or a vote on the budget during the June 16 work session.
