Board fills EDA seats, appoints member to Landfill Advisory Committee amid an abstention

Supervisor Benjamin Morris nominated Marvin James to represent District 3 on the Landfill Advisory Committee to fill an unexpired term. Supervisor Easter asked Morris about his employment relationship with Mr. James; Morris replied he does not currently work with Mr. James but had in past years. The motion to appoint Mr. James passed with Morris abstaining and the remainder of the Board voting in favor.
The appointments will be forwarded to the relevant authorities for onboarding and terms; no additional action was recorded at the meeting.
