The Mercer County Board voted to table consideration of a PCA Rural Development Toolkit proposal for six months on Oct. 7. The motion to table was made by Hawn, seconded by Line, and recorded in the minutes as passing 9-1 with DeMink noted as the sole dissenting vote.
The minutes also record a separate direction that PCA should draft a proposal/fee for a cost/benefit analysis of options for development of the county farm ground; that follow-up responsibility was assigned to Morrison with no recorded vote. The toolkit item will return to the board after the six-month tabling period.
