Downtown revitalization grant denied; council to reapply with CCOG support

The council expressed disappointment but affirmed plans to revise the submission and pursue downtown beautification funds in the next cycle. Dodge thanked staff and volunteers who worked on the application and said the GEM grant will still fund engineering work needed to support a stronger future application.
