Finance committee recommends PSI addendum that fixes 2026 subsidy at $621,508

The DeWitt County Finance Committee on Jan. 20 reviewed and voted to recommend to the full county board a second addendum to the Feb. 21, 2019, agreement with Paramedic Services of Illinois, Inc. The addendum specifies that “the County shall pay PSI the total annual sum of $621,508.00” for Dec. 1, 2025 through Nov. 30, 2026 and identifies a separate interim amount of $375,000.00 for calendar year 2026 to be paid in quarterly installments of $93,750.00.
Committee members recorded the motion to recommend the addendum (moved by Terry Ferguson, seconded by Claro Carter) and approved it by voice vote. The addendum also sets timelines to negotiate subsidy adjustments for 2026–27 and 2027–28, and requires PSI to invoice annually in June with County payments timed to property-tax distributions in July and September and fully paid by Nov. 30 each year. The committee’s recommendation sends the document and its funding commitments to the full board for final approval.
