The health representative described the program as a reimbursement model rather than an upfront grant; the county must place orders or commit funds by Jan. 15 to access approximately $10,000 in eligible reimbursement for a simulation bus and related training activities.
"It needs to be the money needs to be spent or we need to have it ordered by January 15," the Public health official said, explaining the short turnaround for purchasing and invoicing under the task order. Commissioners voted to approve the contractor certification (NDAA compliance language was reviewed) and directed staff to complete signatory steps and return copies so the state can issue the DocuSign task order.
