Jeremy Reardon told the Skowhegan Planning Board he purchased the 4th Street property about five years ago and is applying for an eight-lot subdivision that would add up to six new mobile homes and upgrade two existing residences. "I've come to, apply for a subdivision," Reardon said, and told members he has financing approved through Skowhegan Savings and a groundwork contract with Skowhegan Sand and Gravel.
Randy Butler of Derigo Engineering reviewed the preliminary layout and said the plan keeps lots larger than a typical mobile-home park. The board asked questions about buffering, drainage, and utilities; planning staff said they will collect formal "letters to serve" and expect to see final plans at the next meeting before any formal vote.
