Board approves Instructional Time Model for 2024–25 school year

The Governing Board of the Coconino County Accommodation School District approved the Instructional Time Model (ITM) for the 2024–2025 school year at its Sept. 4, 2024 meeting. President Cheryl Mango‑Paget made the approval following a second public hearing earlier the same day; Chief Education Officer Dave Dirksen said the only suggested revision was to include the online district in the model.
Dirksen told the board the second public hearing yielded no additional substantive changes beyond the addition of the online district. "The only suggested change was to add the online district to the ITM," he said. The approval was recorded by President Mango‑Paget and entered as an action item during the meeting.
