On operations, Robert said projected airport revenues are about $1.1 million and the admin and operations requirement is roughly $2.44 million; he noted carryover cash and last year's lighter winter lowered some expenses but overtime and staffing needs remain material. Commissioners asked about vending and concession arrangements; Robert recommended replacing machines and formalizing an operator agreement so the airport receives a commission rather than no return.
The commission did not take a separate final vote on the airport line at that time; the airport presentation was advanced in the meeting's series of budget approvals and will be folded into final budget adoption after the board completes the broader salary and benefit review.
