Cross Keys precincts to remain at Woodward Elementary through November, board hears

The board approved keeping the Cross Keys High and Woodward precincts at Woodward Elementary School until further notice because of construction and related issues at the high school; impacted voters will be notified before the November election.
Director Dorothy Smith told the board that earlier temporary relocations for Cross Keys High had been made to Woodward Elementary for the primary, and that those temporary locations will remain in place for the November general election due to construction at the high school. "They will not go back to the previous location until further notice," Smith said.
Board members had no additional questions and approved the continuation of the temporary relocation by voice vote. Smith said staff will notify affected voters before November about the continued location at Woodward Elementary.
