Director Dorothy Smith presented the post-election report, telling the board the district had 14,547 registered voters and that 975 ballots were cast, yielding an overall turnout of 6.7%. Smith said 339 ballots were cast on election day, 609 during early voting and 27 by mail; there were no rejected provisional ballots after a signature cure process. "So the election was a smooth election," Smith said.
Smith also briefed the board on operational details: four precincts opened, 25 poll officials worked the day, 40 touch screens and 12 scanners were tested and deployed, and all 27 mail ballots were received and processed. After brief questions from board members about curing missing signatures and staff operations, Travis Bowden moved to certify the results and the board approved the motion by voice vote.
