Board hears animal-shelter statistics, funding and bid schedule for new facility

He said the architect will send final bid documents and staff hope to put the project out to bid the second week of February. Board members discussed donor involvement for kennels and equipment and emphasized the county must cover core infrastructure regardless of donations.
