The council adopted a resolution proposing changes to Bristow’s four ward boundaries and directed the City Clerk to issue a 30‑day notice of the proposal. Mayor Kris Wyatt said the map prepared with INCOG showed only limited changes but was required because of recent population shifts. The motion to adopt Resolution R1472-042026 passed by roll call.
The resolution initiates the statutorily prescribed notice period; the council did not adopt final boundary changes at this meeting but advanced the process so public comment may be received during the notice period.
