State review flags about $600,000 in ARPA reimbursements; Saint Francis to cover invoices, city attorney says
Summary
City Attorney Beth Anne Childs told the Bristow Hospital Authority the state identified 'a little over $600,000.00' the Authority owed after reviewing ARPA invoices, and she said Saint Francis and the state are coordinating to allow Saint Francis invoices to cover that amount so the Authority will not have to repay funds.

City Attorney Beth Anne Childs reported during the April 6 meeting that the state reviewed ARPA invoices submitted for the hospital project and identified a final amount the Hospital Authority owed of "a little over $600,000.00." Childs said some invoices originally submitted were out of date and that the state has approved several invoices that were submitted.
Childs said the state and Saint Francis are working together to accept invoices from Saint Francis to cover that amount, meaning the Bristow Hospital Authority would not be required to repay the funds. Trustees asked no recorded questions during the discussion; the board approved related items later in the meeting and directed staff to continue coordination with Saint Francis and state officials.
